About this site
Theory of Change is the campaign newsletter for the Andy Ellis for Governor Campaign
A theory of change (ToC) is an explicit theory of how and why it is thought that a social policy or program activities lead to outcomes and impacts. - Wikipedia
This "theory of change" is almost always missing in discussions and debates about the role of third parties in the so-called "two party system.
As a candidate, an activist, an advocate, and as a voter, it is essential to be able to explain the why and the how of Green Party and Third party politics.
I will use this newsletter to attempt to answer those questions. My vision includes original op-eds, essays, speeches, and other pieces that go into more depth than the content on the website or social media. I will share some good content from other people, and I may at some point include original writing from people who want to collaborate on this project.
The focus will include policy, theory, history, political science, data.
Subscription Model
This newsletter runs on a subscription model – but all content is available to everybody, and subscriptions are free!
Fresh content, delivered
Stay up to date with new content sent straight to your inbox! No more worrying about whether you missed something because of a pesky algorithm or news feed.
Engage in the discussion
Subscribers are able to comment on posts and engage in the discussion with other subscribers.
Funding the Campaign
While I want to make sure that all of the information is available to everybody, I would like to use this newsletter to raise funds for the campaign. Not only do i think this is a newsletter worth a five dollar a month subscription, I also recognize that one of the biggest barriers to grassroots third parties trying to compete in a two party system is the access to campaign funds.
Predictable, small dollar recurring donations are a great way to build a campaign!
