Completing the Ticket
Today we’re announcing that my friend, Owen Silverman Andrews, is joining the ticket as the candidate for Lieutenant Governor.
I’m thrilled about what this means for the campaign. We’ve been working on this all summer, and it’s the perfect way to kick off the fall—and the rest of the race. I’ll share more later about why this is significant, but for now I want to say this:
I have a well-rounded and well-grounded sense of theory and history about how third-party campaigns can use the power of the ballot line to change outcomes and bend the arc of history toward justice. I also have decades of training in operations, planning, and strategy. I have good plans for what we need to do to make history with this race, and I have a track record of seeing what once seemed impossible—and doing the work to make it happen.
Owen is an amazing organizer who loves talking to people, building collaborations, and expanding coalitions to include people who might otherwise not be involved.
Over the last decade we’ve done some amazing things together, and I’m certain this will be better than all of them.
Welcome to the ticket, my friend!
